Plot Summary
Destiny spent her whole life in an orphanage The Heavenly House. She was treated as an outsider. Teased, made fun of, pranks on a daily basis and otherwise bullied by everyone in the house except for a young man named Harlen. It all changes one day when Destiny and Harlen are playing and get struck by lightning.
When she got hit by lightning she hopped dimensions, to avoid the fate of death. She spends a lot of time trying to locate Harlen. Eventually she starts to get comfortable in her present and stops living in the past. When she starts living in the present and stops living in the past. When she starts living in the present she realized the charming David is her brother. He shows her a streak to come out in his housekeeper LouLou. Who then determines she has to convince all the females in town that Destiny is an outcast and a witch who does not deserve to live.
LouLou determines to give Destiny a false sense of security, by luring her to a "dance". There she tries to get Destiny alone with her and her female friends to run her out of town. Destiny seeks shelter in a run-down shack, which LouLou decides to burn down around her thus trying to burn her alive.
Eventually she succumbs to smoke inhalation and passes out. Where she is in a dreamlike state and seeing her life so far flash before her eyes. Near death she again hops dimensions, where she ends up being woke by a stranger and finding herself in a swamp.
